Efficiency  |  Flexibility  |  Quality

18,000 sheets per hour. The product name ROLAND 700 HiPrint HS stands for High Speed and it prints 18,000 sheets per hour. This makes the HS press concept attractive for all areas of the printing industry where long runs are produced, regardless of the market segment and product type. The high speed has been achieved by, among other things, the new HS feeder with a suction head redesigned for improved vibration resistance, air control, sheet separation and sheet transfer, along with virtually continuous pile elevation control that provides flowing movements in the feeder area. The new HS delivery is equipped with the SelectDryer IR/TL Performance, a new dryer for even more efficient drying of inks and coatings. As always, production speed depends on the materials used such as substrate, ink, coating, and the print form.

QuickChange options. QuickChange comprises various technologies for reducing makeready times. QuickChange Air for example automates air settings in the feeder, printing units and delivery. QuickChange Job automatically adjusts the height of the gripper bars in the Transferters and infeed drum to the substrate thickness. QuickChange Wash is a rapid wash-up system for the inking roller train. With a special ink fountain coating, QuickChange Surface dramatically reduces the time needed for changing inks. Those are only a few of the QuickChange options.

New: autoprint smart. The ROLAND 700 HiPrint HS heralds the entry into One Touch press control: autoprint smart. The name stands for a package of options for greater production efficiency consisting of QuickChange Job, which is an automatic start-up sequence including preparation for the next job during production of the job on the press, self-learning ink slide presetting, and the network software products PressManager perfect and IntegrationPilot Plus. The package can be expanded with further options.

Larger sheet size. The ROLAND 700 HiPrint HS has a maximum sheet size of 740 x 1050 mm, which provides printers who work outside the DIN A formats (folding cartons, labels, books, etc.) with more space to maximize the number of multiple-up images or pages on a sheet.

QuickStart. The QuickStart press control is a standard feature that, following a stop, accelerates the press up to production speed before engaging the feeder. This achieves almost normal inking in the printing unit and avoids excessive substrate waste.
