B3 printers and larger print houses can now broaden their offering to include high quality small format printing. The ROLAND 50 is based on an XXL press in 36/52 format and will print on substrates between 0.04 an 0.80mm thick.
High delivery and mark-free sheet travel
The ROLAND 50 is uniquely equipped with double-size printing cylinders and transferters (a principle derived from medium and large formats). This enables a contact-free sheet travel which is especially important for thicker materials. The ROLAND 50 also has a pile height of 700 mm and is one of the leaders in its format class.
Short make-ready times
Integrated PressPilot software provides a wide range of functions to make operation of ROLAND 50 simple. Reduced make-ready times are facilitated by features such as remote adjustment register, automated plate loading with EPL™ (Ergonomic Plate Loading), fully automated blanket washing devices, and easy-to-clean ink fountains with special coating.
