Welcome to manroland's Printing Classics Campaign!

Welcome to manroland's Printing Classics Campaign!

manroland presses are recognised around the world for their pioneering technology and robust performance in the field. We have a proud heritage of over 100 years of developing printing presses that have set the standard in terms of innovation and reliability.

So, over the next year, we’re going to celebrate this by running a nationwide campaign to find the oldest working manroland press in the United Kingdom.

All those who register their old manroland presses will receive VIP entry to IPEX 2010 and experience manroland’s renowned corporate hospitality on our stand at the show.

The owner of the oldest working manroland in the United Kingdom will be publicly announced at IPEX 2010, when they will receive an award from manroland and their prize: a weekend away for two at a great European destination.

So, if you are an owner of a:

  • ROLAND Rekord
  • ROLAND Favorit
  • ROLAND Parva
  • ROLAND Ultra
  • ROLAND 600
  • ROLAND 800

We want to hear from you!

Let us know how old your manroland press is, and, also, what you are printing on it, as we’re keen to highlight some of the interesting and innovative applications printers are using manroland presses for, to celebrate the real diversity of our industry.

Register now by filling in the form below and you’ll be e-mailed confirmation of your VIP pass to IPEX 2010.

Milestones

With the ROLAND RZS launch the five cylinder principle is developed. Innovative features of the press such as main control console and high pile delivery enabled to achieve an impressive result of 4,800 prints per hour. Its redesigned cylinder configuration continues to impress printers today.
1951
The Offenbach firm develops the four colour press, thereby inventing a four colour wet-in-wet printing. The "Ultra" series proves extremely popular.

The ROLAND 800 sets a new benchmark in the large format press market. Thanks to a multitude of technical features, this machine is sold in 20 different countries within four years just after its official launch.
