“Quality with Economy” – ROLAND 205 Event a Great Success

Some 15 printers recently enjoyed a visit to manroland's Offenbach facility to see the new, groundbreaking ROLAND 200 with Hi Pile in action. The small-footprint B2 format press was put through its paces with some challenging work, and visitors were also then able to enjoy a tour of the manufacturing facilities at the site.
Feedback after the event proved that printers really do get a lot out of these visits: Thanks for a great day! Informative, entertaining, and tiring,” said one South Coast printer. Another said: “The visit was extremely beneficial for us both. It gave us a real insight into the presses and some of the options that are available. It was also a great opportunity to view the manufacturing process itself. To say that the set up and the products are impressive would be an understatement.”
Yet another Cambridgeshire-based visitor concluded: “The open day re-confirmed that manroland is simply the best printing equipment manufacturer. We would currently not even attempt some of the demonstration jobs that were produced at the event, let alone be able to print them at the speed of the ROLAND 200.” His colleague added: “There is no doubt that manroland are “top dog” in sheetfed design and quality.”

The highlights among the new features for the ROLAND 200 introduced at the recent drupa show include the high-pile delivery and the ROLAND InlineCoater smart, both of which further increase the all-round capabilities of this compact press. A delivery pile height of 900 millimetres permits longer runs or jobs with thicker substrates to be produced more economically because fewer pile changes are necessary.
The event was successfully managed by manroland GB's new sales recruits, Matthew Nicholl and Neil Goddard-Shaw.
