Northprint 2007: Winner of “Weigh In” Competition
manroland GB has announced the winner of its Westland Rollers "guess the weight" competition held at the Northprint exhibition in April. The company, which was based on stand A186, invited visitors to enter a free competition to estimate the weight of a ROLAND 900XXL metering roller, measuring some 2 meters in length.
The winner of the competition, who will receive a case of champagne for his efforts, was Dave Walker of Integrated Packaging, Tyne & Wear. David's estimate was spot-on at 75 kg.
One of manroland's printcom pressroom products sales representatives for the north of the country, Linda Ruane, will present David with his prize in the very near future.
Westland rollers forms just part of the recently re-branded "printcom" range of pressroom products, which also includes Vulcan blankets and Fuji Hunt chemistry.
