ROLAND InlineSorter
The ROLAND InlineSorter automatically sorts out waste sheets and thus safeguards the non-stop process in the AirGlide delivery. Sheets that could cause problems here are diverted to a waste box and production continues at full speed.
When the non-stop device is inserted the ROLAND InlineSorter creates a short gap in the sheet stream which prevents any collisions or misaligned or crumpled sheets. This results in straight-edged stacks with no spoils which are ideal for the finishing operations.
The ROLAND InlineSorter also offers interesting advantages in multiple short-stack operation where the multiple stacks are separated by spacers to minimize stack weight and prevent set-off or blocking. Here as well it is not necessary to reduce speed when inserting the pile changing board.
Another advantage of the ROLAND InlineSorter: the number of start-up waste sheets to be diverted can be input at the control console which keeps these spoils out of the delivery pile as well.
