ROLAND InlineObserver
With the rated speed of sheetfed presses increasing all the time, printers need a better way to monitor sheet travel through the press. For strength and stability reasons it is obviously not possible to make the sideframe at the operating side sufficiently transparent for sheet travel to be monitored from outside the press. And so manroland has found a practical solution - the ROLAND InlineObserver for the ROLAND 500, ROLAND 700 and ROLAND 900.
Monitored sheet travel Depending on the number of printing units and press configuration, the ROLAND InlineObserver has a defined number of cameras. These can be positioned at the feeder, at various points through the press, or in zones in the AirGlide delivery where sheet travel quality is critical.
The ROLAND InlineObserver is particularly useful with perfecting presses. The printer can quickly see where sheet travel settings need to be changed which saves waste sheets.
