In the logo, the respected and internationally known brand name has been rejuvenated in its typography and color scheme. The logo is the principal element of our appearance and – followed by the claim WE ARE PRINT. – the company’s most important image bearer. The new manroland logo is a word brand with optical emphasis on the o, symbolizing the globe and also inferring the shape of a printing cylinder.

This makes manroland also optically what it is: the Global Player in printing.

For more than 160 years manroland has developed and built printing presses. Today the company is the market leader for web presses and a close second for sheetfed presses. All over the world, every third newspaper sold is produced on a manroland press.

To ensure that this success story continues in the future, the manroland brand has decided to make a fresh start in 2008. The new appearance confirms this positive brand experiences. It conveys strength and determination, and its aesthetics go beyond traditional press building, confirming our strong identification with the printing industry and our enthusiasm for it.

Guardian News & Media

The Guardian broke the mould with regard to both format and colour content for a British daily newspaper in September 2005, when it released its new Berliner sized publication.

The launch was heralded as the start of a new phase in production for the British daily, with colour now the driving factor; colour on every single page of the newspaper. At the heart of the new publication were manroland COLORMAN web presses installed in East London and Trafford Park, Manchester.

KEP Print Group

Tamworth-based KEP Print Group prides itself on handling all elements of a print project in house. With large format sheet production in mind, the company made its largest ever press purchase when it installed a five-unit ROLAND 900XXL size-8 machine, in an investment valued at over £2 million.
